Anthropic's annualized revenue run rate surpassed $65 billion at the end of July 2026, according to Bloomberg. This marks a sharp rise from $47 billion in May and $9 billion at the end of 2025. Investors expect the company to grow to between $100 billion and $120 billion by year-end, reported the Financial Times.
Rival OpenAI's revenue doubled to $40 billion from $20 billion in late 2025, Bloomberg noted. While both companies may calculate revenue differently, Anthropic's growth rate has attracted more investor attention. Both firms have filed confidential IPO paperwork, with Anthropic potentially going public as early as fall 2026.
The Financial Times reported Anthropic could seek a public valuation of $2 trillion, making it the largest market debut on record. The company was last valued at $965 billion in late May after raising $65 billion in funding.
